Sarah is the founder and head trainer of Pure Fitness Manly, an outdoor one-on-one and group training business run in the heart of Manly for the last 9 years.

Sarah’s passion and own life experiences have helped her draw on the skills and knowledge needed to create a successful business and most importantly, succeed in helping people achieve their health and fitness goals.

What I love about my job: The early starts (yes I’m crazy), helping my lovely clients reach their goals, the sunrises and having a laugh with my bootcampers.

What you will see me doing on the weekend: Hanging out with my beautiful kids and hubbie down at the beach and the occasional Saturday night out in Manly.

Training style: Variety is the spice of life so running, swimming, yoga, weights.

LARA

After watching a family member struggle with a chronic illness, Lara knows all too well that there is nothing more important than your health. Her goal is to encourage and inspire others to improve their health and achieve things they never thought possible.

What I love about my job: Having the opportunity to help people improve their health and fitness and achieve their goals.

What you will see me doing on the weekend: Hiking, cycling, trail running, camping, going to the beach and planning adventures.

Training style: Chose a goal to work towards and know that every training session is getting you one step closer to achieving it.

Tashi

Tashi Fitness Trainer

Tashi is a qualified Personal Trainer with 8 years of experience, working towards her Doctor of Physiotherapy.   Passionate about movement and living a rad fun life, Tashi’s take on personal training is underpinned by her understanding of the busy life needing a good mix play, cost effectiveness, supportive and results driven.  You will find learning how to move well with Tashi a unique experience; moving well, playing often equals living a rad life.

What I love about my job: Believe it or not, the early mornings!  How can you beat the sunrise at Manly beach everyday.  Even when it rains I still enjoy, it’s always a reminder how lucky we are rain, hail or shine with a view like Manly.

What you will see me doing on the weekend: Paragliding, speedflying, surfing, skydiving, vanlife-ing and playing music :).

Training style: A balance of fun, direct, friendly and caring.  I always aim for a good mix of learning and laughing :).

BEN

With over a decades worth of experience as personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Ben is passionate about inspiring people to live life to their fullest. He has a passion for good movement and has a unique ability to get the best from the people who train with him.

Hollie yoga instructor

Hollie’s passion for movement came from an early involvement in dance, and when her friend dragged her to a class at power living she instantly fell in love with the practice. Since then she has continued to explore all that yoga has to offer, completing her foundations teacher training with BodyMindLife in 2014 and intermediate qualifications with inyoga.

As a person who enjoys a variety of physical activity, Hollie feels yoga is the perfect complement to any training program. This is because yoga has a range of benefits that nourish the body, mind and soul. Not only does it tone your muscles and develop flexibility, it also helps release un wanted stress, connects you to your breath and quietens a busy mind.

Hollie believes yoga is more than just a physical practice, its about positive steps and feeling great!

Beach: I love all of them! Give me the ocean and the sand and I could spend most of my days enjoying the beauty.

Eatery: Sprouted! One of my favorite things to do scout out nice wholefoods cafes and eat lots!

Watering hole: I don’t drink much at the pub, but I would say insitu or something more intimate.

What I love about my job: Sharing my passion with others and learning more about myself.

What you will see me doing on the weekend: Yoga, walking, spending time at the beach and with friends, eating lots of yummy healthy treats and smoothies.

Training style: Balanced and I try not to take it all too seriously by honoring my body and not pushing myself too hard.
